Next and Previous Theme buttons have been added on theme pages for easier navigation, without having to scroll through the long list of archived categories. Site search also searches through tags now. We also entered the proper dates for our pre-February 2008 archives, which were dated wrong for some reason. Still tagging the archives. –Jason

Sketch Please Twitter account and Facebook page are up and running. Follow us or Like us and we’ll let you know when new sketches are uploaded! –Jason

Update (5:36pm PST):
Added tag cloud functionality on most pages. Most of our archives have not been tagged yet, so we’ll be doing that over the coming weeks. – J

Today we’re proud to unveil the first of a slew of changes around here. We’re starting with a revamped site design (we figured it was about time we at least had a site favicon…), and will be adding some new features to the Sketch Please interface over the coming days. If you like what you see, “Like” us on Facebook or Google + by clicking the buttons at the top right of the site. –Jason

Update (8:38pm PST):
Most Commented and Most Rated pages added as well as a revamped Highest Rated page that allows you to vote on the sketches on the same page. Random Drawings section added on homepage and category pages. We’re looking good. – Jason

We’ve reordered half of the Week archives in the “Previously…” list, but at least they’re all up there. (Except for the mysterious missing weeks). Lightbox image overlay plugin is functioning with minor bugs, voting works, and the Top 20 Sketches pages sorta works. That’ll be fixed this weekend, hopefully. Good news is that there’s no sign of any extraneous code. We’re clean. –Jason

Yesterday we noticed that some idiots had hacked the site recently, inserting hundreds of spam links into our source code. It’s been royally screwing with our search engine rankings and adsense. We deleted the entire site, and are in the middle of rebuilding it, a process that never goes quite as well as you want it to. You may notice some strange bugs here and there. We know, and we’re on it.

We’re also going to try to reactivate voting, so you should be able to rate sketches again. Look for that as soon as tomorrow. –Jason

Update (7:45pm PST):
Ratings are working already, but we’re still working on getting the Top 20 Highest Ratest Posts page to show the average ratings and vote counts. It’s being stubborn. – Jason
